Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is a stunning image. Everything really works in this photo on multiple levels to grab the viewer. There was clearly a good working relationship between the model and the photographer and this helps the result immensely. Side on lighting (natural or softbox? not sure ...) has given the necessary contrast and highlight to the model and suits the grungy distressed 'theme' of the photo. The makeup has also given the necessary highlights (and lowlights) to the model which accentuate her eyes and lips (strongest part of the image). Finally colour - I really like the green and burnt red - its a good contrasty balance which works well. Overall top quality work and a great addition to my faves.
